An Uncommon Guide to Rapid Fat-Loss, Incredible Sex, and Becoming Superhuman
When I created Chicken Soup for the Soul with my co-author Mark Victor Hansen over 20 years ago, we set an outrageous goal of selling 1 Billion books (that’s with a "B") by the year 2020. At this point, I’m happy to report that we’re half way there, having recently conquered the 500 Million mark.
Along the way we’ve received the Guinness World Record for having the most books on the New York Times Bestseller list at one time; I’ve had the pleasure of meeting presidents, traveling the world, making guest appearances on Oprah, and rubbing shoulders some pretty fascinating people.
And just when I’m feeling pretty good about myself, Tim Ferriss hits the scene.
It took me to 67 years to accomplish everything I listed above...
At 34 years old, Tim has accomplished more than most people do in a lifetime. He’s certainly come a long way since I met him as an even younger man and wrote about him in my book, The Success Principles.
His books, The 4 Hour Work Week and The Four Hour Body have both been New York Times Bestsellers and continue to dominate newsstands and online vendors. He’s received the Guinness World Record for the most consecutive tango turns in one minute, trained in Japanese horseback archery, and given speeches to the C.I.A; not to mention being the 1999 Chinese kickboxing champion among other things.
So, I figured rather than challenge him in tango, kickboxing or archery, I’d just bring him into the studio and ask him his secrets to success.
Nothing was off limits in this interview and it proved to be one of my favorite interviews of the year in the Inner Circle Club. We discussed the secrets to fat loss, weight gain, more rested sleep, minimum-effective-doses, the “Fosberrry Flop”, negative incentives, better sex in the bedroom, becoming Superhuman, and more.
It was definitely not the typical conversation I have with experts around the topic of success.
However, his points are well formulated, backed by science, and are relatable to just about everyone.
It’s important to remember that true success is more than cars, money, advancement and prestige. It’s about the little things. It’s about making the commitment to lose 10 pounds and seeing it through. It’s about learning how to make your significant other feel intimately cared for and loved. It’s about celebrating the fact that in questioning the inbuilt assumptions of a challenge you found a solution that no one else explored.
Tim validates the fact that true success can indeed be achieved every day with the right plan, motivation, and reward. You just have to want it bad enough.
I’m thrilled to bring Tim’s passion for life and business to the comfort of your own home in this month’s expert video segment in the Inner Circle Club. Iʻve attached a small clip from the full length interview below.
If you’re already a member, don’t miss the full length version of this month’s video in the Inner Circle Club--and if you’re not, let me assure you the content shared in this interview far outweighs the cost of admission.
All the best to you.
